January Meditation Practice 2026 ♑

December 11, 2025
January Greetings, dear Friends❣️

I love the quietude that naturally settles upon us in January, following the hustle and bustle of the December holidays. When I look around and observe the natural world, I sense a deep settling—rooting, even. If you are tired, then rest. There is no need to fall into the trap of hustle culture at this time of year. Rest is exactly what nature calls for now, and it is deeply restorative to the body, mind, and spirit as we incubate and root down.

There will be plenty of time to rebuild your social calendar. For now, notice how your energy begins to slowly return with the strengthening light of the Sun. We are gaining a little more daylight each day, and before you know it, Spring will arrive, and your energy will naturally begin to rise again.

For now, enjoy this January meditation as a gentle guide to resting without guilt or FOMO. Nest into the comfort of your hearth and home, and create just the right winter vibes for yourself and your housemates. There is an art to cultivating a cozy winter atmosphere, and once you find it, staying in and taking it easy becomes a pleasure rather than a struggle. Your body will thank you in the Spring and Summer when you honor this natural rhythm now.

Empowered Wintering ❄️
This guided meditation invites you to consciously enter the season of rest without guilt or justification. Rooted in the wisdom of winter and the truth that rest is resistance, this practice helps you slow down, conserve energy, and honor your body’s need to retreat and renew. Wintering is not giving up—it is listening, trusting the cycle, and allowing yourself to be held until the thaw arrives.

▶️ Play and practice often this month.

❄️  May you feel permission to slow down, soften, and rest deeply. May your days be wrapped in warmth and quiet, and may this season restore you from the inside out.

Warmly,
Jennifer 💫💖💫

I’m looking to welcome 100 kindred spirits who feel inspired to support this work by subscribing at $108 per year.

This isn’t just about numbers—it’s about demonstrating that artists and writers deserve to earn a living, and that their offerings have value in our shared world. When you subscribe, you’re not only supporting my creative work—you’re also uplifting a broader movement of mindful, heart-led expression.

As part of my own practice, I tithe at least 5% of my income to support fellow artists, writers, makers, and performers. It’s a sacred cycle of giving and receiving that keeps creativity alive and thriving. ✨

And while $108 a year may feel like a stretch, it actually breaks down to just over $2 per week—a small but mighty contribution with a powerful ripple effect 🌊
